This page explains how to request deletion of your Deploy Chess account and the personal data associated with it. Deploy Chess is published by Software Kit SRL (Romania), the developer shown on the Google Play and App Store listings.
Account deletion is permanent. Once we have processed the request, you will no longer be able to sign in, your ratings and game history will no longer be linked to you, and we will not be able to recover the data.
You can compose the email manually, use the one-click button below, or fill in the form — both will open your email client with the request pre-filled and addressed to admin@markosoft.ro.
The form opens your default email app with the request pre-filled. You must press Send in your email app to complete the request — no email is sent until you do.
Once we have verified and processed your request, the following data is handled as listed below. Retention periods are aligned with our Privacy Policy.

| Friend-game records | DELETED Pending friend-game invites you created or joined. Removed within 30 days. |
| Game history (your past matches) | ANONYMISED Match records remain in the public game archive so opponents can still view replays of games they played. Your username in those records is replaced with an anonymised label (e.g. deleted-user) within 30 days. The records are no longer linked to you. |
| Crash and diagnostic logs | DELETED Crash reports and diagnostic logs are retained for up to 90 days in our diagnostic provider (Firebase Crashlytics) and then expire automatically. |
| Encrypted backups | EXPIRES Encrypted backups of our database may continue to contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten in the normal backup rotation. |
| Records kept by law | RETAINED A minimal record of the deletion request (date, account identifier, and confirmation) may be kept to demonstrate compliance with GDPR. Where any law or regulation requires us to retain specific data for a longer period, we will retain only what is strictly required for that purpose. |
A self-service "Delete account" control is being added to the Profile screen in the Deploy Chess app. Until that ships, please use the email request described above — it is the authoritative channel for deletion requests.
